  1. Oh How beautiful Tatyana! I love your cherub bowl. Gorgeous. Looks like you have some sprouting going on there too. Cannot wait to see the blooms.

    1. Lona, thank you! That bowl is one of my 'finds'. It's made in West Berlin (the cold war time, hah?). Hyacinths should be white and blue.

  2. A really beautiful classical tablesetting, lovely the 3 dishes with the candle in it and the bowl with cherubs. But you are also looking forward to new life. So pretty to see your hyacinth bulbs on the table.

    1. Janneke, thanks! This is exactly what I thought - the hyacinths are the signs of a new life, a new year! Good for you!

  3. The graceful arrangements are so impressive. But so is your photography! Please share how you achieved such wonderful effects in low light. Did you use flash? What light source did you have, and what ISO setting did you use? (Sorry to be so curious and technical, but I'm amazed at the beauty!)

    1. PlantPostings, thank you! No flash; several ceiling lights and two table lamps; ISO from 400 to 1600 for different pictures. Happy New Year!

    1. Irene, thanks! It was fun to set the table using a lot of flee market finds.

    1. patientgardener, ha-ha! Good eye! Yes, only the girls had little presents in small boxes; the boys had big presents under the tree! The best often comes in little packages...
